Dramaturge for Dance

As a professional Choreographer and Dramaturge for Dance, I create own work and collaborate with other makers.

You can find all the projects I have been a part of under Portfolio.

Currently active with:

  • Entre Viatges i Flors. Made in collaboration with Natàlia Vignatti. This project, based on texts by Catalan author Mercè Rodoreda, has been selected for the Final of the 2018 Dance Award of the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona.
  • Dramaturge for Sanne Clifford. Sanne is a Dutch, Amsterdam – based choreographer. Her works are both analytical and deeply connected to an emotional thread. I have been her in-house dramaturge since 2014.
  • Dramaturgical Advise for Morgan Reid and Tine Schmidt of Phase-Zero productions, for their latest creation Curious Minds. Première November 2017 in Leipzig.

Lecturer on Dance Theory

 

Dance Lecture on postmodern dance at Choreolab Basel 2017

As a Freelance Lecturer and Teacher in Dance Theory, I collaborate with several Dance-Theaters, Festivals and Choreographic Platforms, and Schools.

For Example:

  • I am a co-organizer and lecturer at Choreolab Europe, International Platform for Choreographic Research. Semestral, nomadic 4-day programs combining practical research, theoretical approach and debate on the necessities of the dance field since 2014
  • Starting January 2018, I will introduce dance performances on a regular basis at the Stadsschouwburg in Amsterdam, providing context to the audience before the show starts.
  • In a similar capacity, I am a regular lecturer for the program Mitja Hora Abans  at El Mercat de les Flors , Barcelona, since 2014.
